💛 Becoming a Volunteer at Haynes CES💛
We’re excited to welcome both new and returning volunteers to Haynes Charter for Enriched Studies this year! Your time and support make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
To become a volunteer, please follow the LAUSD volunteer application process. Please note that final approval is issued by the LAUSD Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department, not by Haynes CES directly.
While your application is being processed, you can log back into your volunteer account to check the status (such as pending, under vaccination review, etc.). Once your application is approved, you will receive an official email from LAUSD with a temporary volunteer pass.
We appreciate your patience and dedication as we prepare for another great year. Thank you for being an important part of our school community!
STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE
- Fill out an application on the LAUSD's Volunteer Management System.
- Print, sign, and bring the application to the office.
- Sign the Volunteer Contract - a copy will pop up once you have filled out the application on the volunteer management system. There will be an option to print out two documents. This is one of them. Sign and bring this document in as well.
- TB TEST - a new TB test must be completed every 4 years. If you are a new volunteers that is submitting your TB test results they must be from the last 60 days.
- Covid Vaccine Record - Please upload your COVID vaccination record to Daily Pass.
All the documents listed above may be brought to the office. Once you have been completely processed, we will contact to let you know when you are ready to start volunteering.

COME INTO THE OFFICE AND SIGN IN UNDER YOUR NAME IN THE VOLUNTEER BOOK. THEN YOU WILL BE GIVEN YOUR BADGE.

NOTE – AT THIS TIME A NEGATIVE COVID TEST IS NOT NEEDED. PROTOCOLS CAN CHANGE, SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR UPDATES.
